AmCham Moldova is Launching Committee on Sustainability.

AmCham Moldova members have always played an active role– internationally and regionally - in diminishing the negative impact of business on the environment and transitioning towards a greener economy.

After the EU has announced the European Green Deal and committed to turning Europe into the first carbon-neutral continent by 2050, as a response to the global climate and environmental-related challenges, the demand for sustainable and resilient development becomes an increasingly relevant topic for the government and the business community.

AmCham Moldova Sustainability Committee will become a discussion & action platform on such topics as:

- Decarbonization & Energy transition

- Renewable energy & Energy efficiency

- Recycling & Waste management

- Water stewardship

- Sustainable technologies

- Sustainable agriculture

- E-mobility

- Other related topics, as identified by members

The Committee will also ensure the liaison between interested AmCham members and the international donors' organizations in Moldova, pursuing the financing of green transformation in business.
