Starting from 01 January 2023 and 01 July 2023, respectively, large tax-paying units are to use the checkout and control equipment connected to SIA "Electronic Sales Monitoring" according to the activities and within the term established in the annex to the Interdepartmental Commission's Decision for home and control equipment of the Republic of Moldova no. 26-11/1-19/03-2022 from 16.08.2022, (Official Gazette no. 264-266 from 19.08.2022). Also, according to the available data, the State Fiscal Service has announced that it will make an effort to inform every economic agent affected by this change.
During the meeting, we propose to share our experience on how the preparations for the implementation of the given provisions take place, including the dimension related to what will be done with the settlement of the balance sheet value of those changed home appliances; how VAT will have to be restored from the remaining balance; will these costs be deductible, as well as other problematic situations our members could anticipate.
Those issuers will be discussed with Victoria Belous, Deputy Director of State Tax Service.
