Event Details
AmCham held on October 20th the webinar "Sustainable Packaging Regulations & Consumer Preferences".
It was dedicated to local producers interested in aligning with the regulatory requirements on sustainable packaging imposed by the European Union for market access, but also to respond to consumers' aspirations to reduce the environmental impact of packaging waste.
Increasingly, companies are responding to the call from consumers and regulatory efforts by authorities to minimize packaging and reduce or eliminate packaging waste. Companies are gradually moving away from the linear consumption model and focusing on a circular economy model, where packaging is minimized or made from recycled content that can be reused or recycled by the end-user.
To adapt effectively and remain competitive, companies need to understand prevailing trends and regulatory requirements.
