On May 20, the AmCham Tax Committee held an online meeting with the State Tax Service (Mr. Vitalie Ciumacenco - Head of General Directorate, Head of the Working Group responsible for SIA REE), the Labor Inspectorate (Mr. Adrian Bobeica, Deputy Head of Directorate) together with colleagues from FIA and EBA, as well as the Executive Director of the Confederation of Employers (Mr. Vladislav Caminschi), to address and clarify on the problematic topic of the Electronic Register of Employees.

The two main points were:

a. Clarification on the deadlines for the implementation of the SIA Electronic Register of Employees for the business sector;

b. Identifying gaps and clarifying the issues concerning the set of documents that would be used to complete the Register.
